The Artist Guild is something that for a very long time has become
necessary in order to serve the creative section of Cybertown as well
as provide services to our other citizens.  The word artist we are
using in a general sense of the word.  This would mean Paper and Pen,
Paint, VRML, or computer graphics we would still be including and
serving this community.

 We wish to  unite artists throughout CT into a group where they can
share and discuss art with each other as well as all other citizens
throughout the city.  Artists learn through sharing, as well as other
citizens. To that end.

1) We will hold meetings biweekly at Club to discuss various things
such as Events that we may hold or support throughout Cybertown.
2) We will hold training classes for HTML, Paint Shop Pro, Bryce,
Poser, AVs, Spazz etc.  Spazz may be done in connection with World
Builders Guild.

   3) The Guild will maintain a webpage/site that all Cybertown Citizens
may send in their original art and have it displayed.  The page will
be Right Clicked and View Source protected to help protect any
copyright infringement.

With the new copyright enforcements the need for both training how
to make original images as well as offering services where they may
find an image maker. As well as providing information on how to find non
copyrighted  images and how to tell the difference.

4)Special recognition awards would go out to artists to have shown
outstanding ability in Cybertown, adding to it.
 

  We realize that because some content is not applicable to
Cybertown...that all rules must be inforced.  To that end we will
submit page for approval to Founders, COM or City Council as noted
upon approval, before we will actually connect the page to site.  A
page will look very similar to..
The Artist's Real Name (As long as they wish), CT Name:, Title of
pic, Media Used, website and copyright info would all be included.
Links would be checked and any found to contain non CT
material..would not be used.

The current Artist's Guild has been a group of artists quietly working
behind the scenes, with this proposal we hope to move forward. becoming
a viable community support group for the good of all interested in
art  within Cybertown.
