Sci-Fi Colony Map Contest

Are you a graphically inclined citizen of Sci-Fi Colony? Want to help the colony with a new design for the colony map? Here's your chance!

What are the requirements? -
1) Original work only please. (any works found to be copyrighted will be disqualified). "Original" may be defined as not copies of any original map image. It may be a  modified picture or a complete original.
2) Contestants must be a resident of Sci-Fi Colony.
3) Work to be representative of the Sci-Fi Colony.
4) Image size - 585X286 pixels, 49KB - 70KB. (exceptions might be made but don't count on the judges to agree)
5) Format is .jpg
6) Remember this will be turned into a navigation map.
7) Fonts should be clear and easily read.

Tips:
    1) Look at Sci-Fi's and other colony maps to get a feel for the layout.
    2) Smaller is better, remember people still use 56K modems to access the site.

ALL entries will be preliminarily judged by Colony Staff. Three (3) semi-finalists will be chosen from all entries. The three (3) semi-finalist entries will then be submitted to the special guest judges Lysander, Vialle and founder Hawk. All entries to be judged on originality, quality and best representation of the Sci-Fi colony.
